I am all for hydrating products. I have combination skin. An oily t-zone and not so oily other parts of my face, I guess. Therefore I constantly keep searching for and adding hydrating products to my skincare regimen. I love it when my skin is hydrated and plump. That’s where Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum comes in.

Sephora website says this is “A cool drink of water for thirsty skin, this hydrating serum visibly replenishes the complexion and improves the look of skin texture and tone.”

Packaging

The bottle is opaque white plastic with a twist-up pump mechanism to dispense the product. The top twists and turns into a pump. To lock it just twist the other way around. It closes without a cap. The bottle is quite airtight and ensures that the product stays fresh. There is now way to know how much product is left in the bottle, since the packaging is fully opaque.

Formula

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum is a lightweight serum. The ingredients include Pineapple Ceramide, Provitamin B5 and Sodium Hyaluronate. This lightweight serum has a pH level of 5.7. It delivers steady hydration all day as it visibly diminishes drabness, dryness, and fine lines, according to the Sephora website. It should be noted that all of the Drunk Elephant products are designed to be mixed together, except for their sunscreen.

This product is vegan and cruelty-free. Also it is free of essential oils, silicones, and fragrance. It also has the Sephora clean seal.

My Experience

I love this product. Somehow I had not thought I would like Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum this much. The reason I think is because this mixes so well with all my other products. It is so light and refreshing. I mix it with retinol at night and sometimes with my lactic acid serum. This serum is moisturizing and odorless gel. It mixes so well with other Drunk Elephant Products. I feel it adds that extra bit of moisture my skin is looking for sometimes.
