LYS Beauty caught my eye, when I became more interested in clean beauty. Also I kept reading a lot of good reviews on social media about their products. So I went ahead and purchased the LYS Beauty Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush.

The Sephora website says this is “A clean, high-pigment, non-greasy, satin-matte blush with a buildable, creamy formula that gives skin a natural flush.”

This blush is housed in a triangular, plastic rose gold compact. Even though it has a magnetic closure, it does not feel heavy. Also it has a mirror, which is really nice.

This product is gluten-free, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging. The highlighted ingredients include Kaolin Clay that reduces the appearance of pores and limits excess shine. Avocado Oil which penetrates skin to lock in lasting hydration. Lastly Vitamin E that calms and soothes the skin.

My Experience

This LYS Beauty Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blush is pigmented. It is also easily blendable. You just need a little bit, so remember a little bit goes a long way with these blushes. I have combination skin. Confident lasts on me for eight plus hours. After which it starts fading.

I am truly impressed with the formula and the wear time of these blushes. Hats off to LYS Beauty for creating a lovely and affordable blush formula. I definitely want to add more shades to my collection.

One more thing I want to add is that the blush pan is huge. I will probably never finish this blush. It might actually expire before I make a dent in it. So in short, this is a pigmented, blendable, long-lasting and an affordable blush, that you must try.
